I remember hearing about them and seeing some people saying they dug them but they seem to have all but disappeared.

Did anyone play one, have any opinions etc?

Yup. Played one in Sam Ash. My two-sentence review: Decent price, cool color, dumb pickguard that needs replacement, and exceptionally lame signature artist. I'd own one with no qualms, but I'd not pay full pop.

I played one at Sam Ash a month or two ago and I really enjoyed it. The neck was very comfy and it sounded and felt really nice too.

OT but, she was good when she first came out. Her first album is excellent, her second pretty good, and by her third she had sold out to Disney. I wish she had kept with her roots, she has a really great voice. She could have been the next Bonnie Raitt, if she hadn't gone all pop on everyone.

i played one. really liked it. i have 3 flying vs and thought this one might have been the 4th. sounded great, played well. didn't really like the questionable fretboard wood or the grace potter name. couldn't pull the trigger on it in the end, mostly for $$$ reasons. im sure im gonna regret it 5 years from now when it's just a sweet looking guitar from an artist no one may remember.

interesting. i actually really dig the pickguard and the binding. two of the things that got me thinking about it in the 1st place since im usually not a V fan. i need to see if the sam ash near me has one since i havent seen them anywhere.

Isn't that what an artist is supposed to do? Even Led Zepplin had issues with their later material(not comparing GP to LZ) their early work was awesome Later stuff.... not so awesome!
