Did Bill Lawrence USA go belly up?

Seems to be doing well, they have a very active Facebook page. Probably figured the website wasn't worth investing in, can't blame them. Looked them up when I saw this, now getting posts in my feed from them lol

It's not that one and this forum doesn't let share links or pics (as discussed before I'm another thread).

I copied and pasted that link just fine. ;)

Yeah just like some people can post pics without any issues. Are you trying to imply something else? Because I realized the Facebook app on my phone, there are NO links, nor can I copy them.

Not implying anything. Try this. In the FB app, go to the page. In the upper right will be 3 dots. Click on that. At the bottom of that page is “copy link”. Click it. Come back here and paste it in the post.

I just wanna know what their FB page is. I haven’t been able to locate the BL U.S.A. page. Only Bill and Becky or Wilde.

Okay - who has any Bill Lawrence pickups of any kind for sale right now?
Lawrence USA or Wilde (from Becky) will be fine.
I'm looking to stock up on a number of them.
I don't want used stuff - I want new in the original packaging, if you don't mind.
I really want from of the EB-50 pickups for bass.

Yes - I'm watching Squeebay and Treeverb, too.

I have a collection of Bill Lawrence L-250's and XL-500 and man, the ohms ratings are non consistent, but the tone is to die for.

The L-250's are in the neck position on all my Metal guitars and they only project the guitar's natural tone, they sound great for clean sounds and when using an acoustic simulator.... and man , it delivers a very very convincing acoustic sound in the neck position . Especially, when they have an ohms rating lower than 11.30k ohms.

XL 500's lower than 11.50k ohms in the neck position are just like the L-250.
Handles distortion and overdrive with the clean articulation like Seymour Duncan Screamin Demon and amazing with an acoustic simulator on a clean channel .

BL USA is still around. The website is different.

I'd be interested in owning a BL USA L500XL just because it's what Dime used back in the early days (along with a Randall RG100ES).

Ultimately I'd prefer having all variations in my collection. My understanding is the Wilde Pickups version has smoother highs and more low end than the BL USA version.

That's my experience as well: recent Wilde L500's seem to include AlNiCo mags VS ceramic ones in BL USA.

That said, recent BL USA sound harsh to my ears with a typical capacitive/resistive load. I largely prefer vintage models from before the split : they included ceramic mags but not too gaussed and sound just "right" to me. YMMV.
