Did early 1960s strats have a nickel or chrome bridge plate?

Slightly confused poster. Did early 1960s strats have a nickel or chrome bridge plate? On fender reissues the bridge plate is chrome but I thought they were originally nickel or am I losing it?

Nickle on my Lake Placi Blue rosewood Board 65.

.....and I wouldn't be using a reissue (from either Fender or Gibson) as some benchmark to judge what the originals had.

My 65 was not a reissue!

I'm pretty sure my 1960 Strat was nickel.
