Did my voodoo ISO8 just fry????

Alright, I just redid my pedalboard, which is a Pedaltrain junior. I went from a Bonamassa wah, to a Mooer tremucopter, to a Mooer Orange 90 to a TC flashback. To make placement easier, I swapped a power cable into one of the free power ports on the ISO 8 and connected that to the Tremucopter. I was playing around and then the sound quickly went flat, to nothing. I went down to the pedal board and checked connections, everything is good. Then I noticed that the power supply was pretty damn warm/near being hot. I can not read the labels on the power ports and wonder if I fed the wrong current into the Mooer and that is what caused this issue? If you can imagine that the PT junior is right in front of you, right side up with pedals facing the sky, I plugged the Mooer into the port second from the last on the right.

Did I just ruin my power supply? Did I ruin my pedals?

Re: Did my voodoo ISO8 just fry????

I believe just the power supply is not working, as I swapped in a pedal that was not present during the malfunction and it is not powering up/the LED is not turning on (I can see well enough to see the bright LEDS turn on and off). I guess I'd rather replace the power supply over 5 pedals.... this sucks. Shuld the voodoo warranty cover this, did I even do anything wrong?

Re: Did my voodoo ISO8 just fry????

how old is the pp2? if its under warranty im sure they will fix/replace it. ive never really heard of one going down like that. have you taken it out and played around to see if all the outputs are dead and where the switches are set?

Re: Did my voodoo ISO8 just fry????

The pedals do not draw enough current for your power supply to fry. This power supply puts out a certain voltage, it doesn't put out current so you wouldn't be able to give your pedal too much current. The current output is based on the load you hook up to it and your load wasn't high enough to blow anything. The heat on your power supply would be from the transformer inside but it shouldn't get hot enough to where you can't touch it or notice a difference in heat from normal use. Something may have shorted out inside somehow and that caused the transformer to heat up and then finally die.

Talked with Ben from Voodoo today and they're going to repair it and get it back to me with in a couple of weeks. Warranty covers it, as it is only 2 years old. It was just a freak accident. I've never heard of this happening with voodoos stuff and am not too worried about quality. There's always the 1 in every 10k experience lol
