So, I love the tone I get by using Fender Heavy white plastic pics, I play mostly European Power Metal stuff so it gives me the p.m. from hell, but I am working on this fastpicking lead lick and its a nightmare trying to play the lick clean with my favorite pick, however I am begining to really play it well with Jim Dunlop 1 mm Nylon black pick which just does not deliver as good as the fender pick on the rythm stuff .... any comments. Thanks Dudes.

Ever tried ibanez hikizumes?Try them out.You will feel that has the feeling of nylon and sounds more like celluloid!

i use the smallest tear drop once.
If you can't find them ,you can try the blue Paul Gilbert signatures too.But nothing is fast ,accurate and well sounding like those small celluloids!

Do a search on ebay for "nickel silver guitar pick" and try one of those babies...

yeah the "heavy" ones are hikizumes in japan and germany.The smallest ones are super fine ,accurate but still very well sounding.and the grip is just perfect.if you're not sweating while playing ,you will like them.And you can get the same feeling in different shapes!Cheers!

all hikizumes (heavys)that i played or saw where 1mm.but that's really totally different as the dunlops!So check just out!

on the subjetc of picks:

I am weird. I get gator grip 1.5mm for guitar and 2mm for bass, then, get this, i sand them down a bit using sand paper, i like them to be like as if theyve been worn down a bit, i guesse i got used to playing worn down pics and now i need them to be.
