Probably read it on here jolly, theres a thread about it somewhere, and we pretty much all agreed its a great idea!

I thought the tone Wizard was quite a helpful place to start. It took into consideration things about the guitart that I didn't know made a difference to which pickups were best (like fret board composition). I'm getting a new Ibanez this year and I wanted to throw some new pickups in it. I've always wanted to do that but I didn't want to mess with the mini-buckers on my LP Deluxe. Dimarzio doesn't offer anything like that. That and the forum are large parts of why I'm going to buy SD.

Can the sh-6 set come in zebra? I have a les paul type guitar and I'm wanting to replace the pups with a pair of Sh-6's in zebra. I'm wanting the black bobbins on the outside and the cream bobbins on the inside. Would that be just a plain zebra set -or is it one zebra and the other reverse zebra?

I think it's an excellent idea. Most guitarists don't want to put any thought into which pickups will match up best... they just wanna play the damn things!
