Yes, I know the trembucker PATB2 is trem spaced and has the diff pole pieces. HOwever, I see where the specs are different too. What is the tonal difference? How does the Patb2 (I think thats the right model number) sound?

the PAtb-2 is thicker and warmer this ois for floyd loaded guitars
the OFR is very brittle toned and seymour designed these for the reason
tony macalpine is(was?) a long time PATB-2 user
his tone was very regular DD like BUT was warmer
the regular DD screams man i love it!:laugh2:
not to say the PATB 2 wont but the DD just has more scream IMHO:beerchug:

Which would give me more chunk? I LOVE the Blues Trembucker but want something hotter.

Re: Diff between Distortion and Dist Trembucker?

The trembucker Distortion is different than the patb-2.

So when you say trembucker do you actually mean the trembucker or the patb-2?

I've got a trembucker dd and it doesn't quite scream like I remember the regular spaced dd. But I was using that regular spaced dd on a floyd setup, back before trembuckers. I guess that might be the difference.

i've found the patb2 to thicken things up a bit more than the tb6. it sounds KILLER in an ash bodied super strat w/ a thin neck. fills out the tone alot. and it's HOT HOT HOT.
