Difference Between Invader SH8 bridge and Full Shred bridge?

Surprised nobody has suggested an EQ pedal. This could add in the mids you need in a more precise manner than the mid knob on the amp.

Interesting experience with the bridge Invader today. I've had one for years and I've used it in a few different guitars, but I think I finally stumbled on a winning combo/forever home - an overly bright 25.5" Schecter E1, tuned to drop B with a 12-68 set.

I've had 5 different pickups in this guitar (including the Invader) in E standard tuning and none of them was an "oh yeah". Basically stopped playing the thing. I had need of a guitar in drop B for a specific project, tuned this one down, it still wasn't ticking the boxes; I was seriously contemplating selling it.

I put the Invader back in the bridge on a whim a couple hours ago and it absolutely smokes. Seems like the combination of this bright, thin guitar with thicker strings, a deeper tuning, the big Invader mids, and the overtones of the 25.5" scale is Goldilocks territory. Considering both the guitar and the pickup were gathering dust until this morning, I almost feel like I got something new. Cool stuff.

Man, I think the invader has more chog chog than any other pickup I've played. It was really good for the sound I was going for in this band https://hitmanhalifax.bandcamp.com/t...der-the-weight

I'm on the right channel with the invader. I believe the amp was a Krank but don't remember the model. All the leads that happen from 4:00 and on are me with the invader too

If that's the kinda thing you're going for I definitely think it does the job better than almost any pickup. I know for a fact I used the invader for the first 3 songs on that album, so those are other samples you can check out. on the album i do all of the "leads" as in melodies or fills, but none of the "solos". the 4th song was probably my les paul with EMGs, it was in a different studio almost a year later.
