Re: Difference between Midi Buddy and Midi Wizard?
I think the Buddy is a lot simpler. But both are 'dumb' controllers that basically just send program changes. You may look into the Behringer FCB1010 if you are looking for a midi pedal. It is inexpensive, and you can have a lot more control over your sounds.
Re: Difference between Midi Buddy and Midi Wizard?
It can send lots more midi messages, like CC messages, note-on, toggles, external switching (latching and un-latching)...and it has 2 expression pedals built in.

Yeah, I am guessing if you don't understand it, it is time to read up on what midi is, and what it can do. They are basically messages to control different aspects of your gear. You will gain a lot more control and more dynamic sounds of your JMP-1 and Intellifex by diving into the midi world. There are good primers about midi on the web everywhere.
