Guys,
Has anyone done an LP comparison between the Tone Pros system and then the Pigtail lightlweight tailpiece in addition to using the Pigtail bushings and studs? I am wondering the results. I play heavy music so I am not sure I'd benefit completely from either since some subtletys may be lost with high gain.
However, I do play a lot clean as well.
I am basically looking to get the most from my LP and wondering which method would smooth out the highs and deepen the tone over all. It is said that the lightweight tail and metal bushings/studs provide a more vintage and open tone, while the heavier Tone Pros gives a deeper, modern and thicker tone with a tighter bass.
Thanks!
