well i prefer to use the same pick all the time.
i also have used the tortex purple jazz 3's for years but have recently ran out of them and havent found any in my local stores so i was forced to go down a gauge to the green ones,which seem to have more snap to them when riffing for some reason so im trying to get used to them again since thats what i have these days,i use to play with the greens a long long time ago when i was using 10's but i switched to the purples and 11's a few years back.so now its 11's and back to greens for me.
