Digital Recording to a CD Drive

Hey guys!

I just got a good deal on Ebay for a Tascam Dp01fx for $225 (240 shipped).

Now I'd rather just be able to go right from the recorded stuff on there to a CD but seeming as the version of that Dp01fx cost $600 I thought it'd be cheaper to get this and an external CD Drive to Record to.

I'm just wondering will this do what I need?

Who knows! It's going to depend on the gozintas and gozotta's.

Tascam usually has manuals & FAQ's on-line for all their stuff...I'd start by checking them.
