Digital Reverb On The Marshall JVMs

i thought the reverb sounded a little different that the marshall reverbs i'm used to, but i just recently noticed that the JVM line uses digital reverb. i'm not too impressed with it either.

what do you think about that? was it a mistake to put digital reverb in the JVM series?

Re: Digital Reverb On The Marshall JVMs

No. It sounds decent, as good as any other marshall I've heard. Good reverb puts the price up too much to make it worth it to me. I never use it anyway.

Re: Digital Reverb On The Marshall JVMs

It definantly does sound different, but I've never really cared for reverb in general, so if leaving it out makes the amp a hundred bucks cheaper im good with it.

Re: Digital Reverb On The Marshall JVMs

The holy grail sounds great, that is a digital pedal reverb. I don't see that there should be a problem with the built-in JVM reverb.

Re: Digital Reverb On The Marshall JVMs

I Assume they just cloned and simplified a DSP version of a Awesome Studio Plate Reverb they liked and decided it was a more "Modern" version of a vinatge feature...

its def. not horrible...but i would rather see a accutronics tank in there...or nothing at all and I'll toss my Holy Grail or a a Verbzilla in the Loop...
