Digitech D serie = Analogue?

I know these 5 Distortion pedals that Digitach makes are analog:
Death Metal™
Bad Monkey™
Hot Head™
Grunge®
Screamin' Blues™
Are those what you meant? I'm not aware of a "D" series. What are they & where do we find information on them?

Digitech and DOD were the same company before Digitech bought DOD out. I have yet to play a decent pedal by either of them. My uncle worked at Digitech for a while and used to bring me random effects to mess around with and I always hated them, hahaha.
I'd look elsewhere especially if you want distortion. A $40 DS-1 sounds centuries better than a $50 Grunge or $80 Death Metal.

Well i tried them all today, and i fell in love with this called "Bad monkey" so i placed an order on one, it was a tough one between getting the monkey or the one called "Hot head", why i didn't get the head was it had a sharp distortion tone you couldn't really take away, but on low gain settings it sounds sweet.
I've been searching for the perfect Od/dist pedal for 3 months now and have tried around 20-30 pedals and the monkey is the best for me IMO. I'm waiting for the monkey to come! :headbang:

I'm glad you found something you like. I've heard quite a few positive things about the "Bad Monkey", but I haven't tried one yet. The prices here seem pretty good for the analog Digitech pedals. I've got the "Screamin' Blues" that I like a lot.
The re-designed Digitech pedals are better than the old ones, IMHO. I like the enclosure MUCH more than the previous design, they're much sturdier and he battery door doesn’t go missing.
And, really, when you get right down to it, aren't we ALL just waiting for the monkey to come?
