Digitech RP7 How do I edit the thing !!!

Greetings all

Just got hold of an old school Digitech RP-7 effects board from eBay. Despite having the manual I can't figure out how to edit the programmes and change parameters etc. I'm probably being real dumb here but it has me foxed !.

I go to edit mode and get it (for example) to display PHAS (for phaser). When I try and work out how to change values it goes to something else and at no point can I hear any phasing anyway !. The presets all seem to work fine, just not quite what I need. I thought my Korg AX1500G was tricky but it's got nothing on this. I know it's a bit "old skool" these days but is anyone out there still using an RP-7 and can help me out ?.

ahh man i had one of those things a few years ago...now I just hope I can remember well enough to help you!

The layout works as a grid, with the LED's along the top & side showing what square you are on. I think you move around with the 'paramater select' buttons and when you are on the setting you want to edit you use the up & down buttons on the other 'value' pad.

If you can't hear the effect in the mod/pitch group you need to go up to the 'on/bypass' row up the top and change the value to 'on'.

Oh just another thing, only some of the preamps use the tube, if they sound like sh!t you'll probably need to replace the tube!
