Cost: $30
I was using a Maxon 808, but I wanted to get a backup pedal, so I picked up a used Digitech Screamin' Blues. (If I don’t want to haul my Tonelab, I usually just use a couple of pedals into my Boogie). Turns out I'm likin' it more than the 808. The Blues has a bass tone knob in addition to the treble knob, so it preserves/boosts the bottom more that the 808. I used it at practice last night, I'm thinkin' I like it more than the Maxon.
Apparently the Screamin' blues is NOT digital, but an analog pedal, tho I haven’t seen a schematic of it yet. I also like how the new battery access works; the old Digitech & DOD pedals had those crappy plastic battery doors.
Anybody else using this pedal?
