Dimarzio Air Norton -neck??

Im trying to find an interesting,singing neck pickup. Seems like Ive been recommended the Air Norton in the past. Whats it like??
Can anyone compare it, a Liquifire and/or PAF JOE to a PAF PRO for neck?
Throw in a comparo to a SD Demon in the neck?? : )

I had one in a Japanese RG470. It's been a lot of years, but I loved it at the time, but remember it being darker than what I'd be into now. I'm into very bright neck tones now, though, so don't take that to mean it was muddy or woofy.

It's a dark, fat neck humbucker, darker and more mids than a PAF Pro. Sorry, haven't tried the Liquifire or a Demon in the neck.

found your review on the paf joe. will read it. couldnt find anything on the Liquifier..?

I thought the Air Norton was a mud-bomb. It had so little attack that I didn't even feel like I was playing guitar. More like a synthesizer. If you want SUPER smooth and SUPER warm, you might like it. A lot of people do. I much prefer the Humbucker from Hell, Paf Joe, and Paf Pro.

Maybe Ill look at the paf joe.. The paf pro was too weak/bland IMO when I tried it before. Thanks Darth.. was looking on your site, not FB
