I have a black f-spaced Air Zone. I'd like to trade it for something different. Maybe a Tone Zone, Norton, or something a bit more aggressive for my Wolfgang.

Not trying to hijack your thread but what is it that the Air Zone won`t do? I had one in a Wolfgang years ago and it got really aggressive when needed.

I don't know how to describe it exactly. It just seems really smooth. Not much bite when I need it. I know they're very sensitive to height adjustments, but that's not much of an option with the Wolfgang. Did you need to adjust yours somehow?
I completely disagree. It kills for rhythms and leads! What guitar/wood have you tried it in? That makes a huge difference, especially with the TZ. Also it's a good idea to mess around with your EQ with the TZ. Once you get it dialed in it's honestly one of the best bridge pups out there. Just ask all the guitar heroes that swear by it!

I have it in a Parker Nitefly. As far as I can tell, the body is Mahogany. I've tried messing with the EQ, but through my amp, it just has way way too much bass.

Ah well there's your problem man! Mahogany is already dark and warm. That's gonna make the TZ seem really muddy! Definitely get another pup in there! An Evo would sound great. Anything bright really.
I'd recommend a Crunch Lab. I replaced stock dimarzio/ibz pickup on my RG which was close to Super Distortion and it made a difference for rhythm. Now it does palm mutting stuff without being muddy at all.
Also have a Tone Zone in the other guitar. It's ash so it helps with brightness and clarity, don't know how it would work in mahagony.
Cheers
