Is that a new thing? They used to offer some guitars with Duncans.
I'm always boggled by some of the descriptions I see of the AT-1. I have no idea how it would be brighter than a JB, I definitely did not find it so. It does seem to make a difference how close you set it, as with any pickup. I set mine reasonably close but not kissing the strings, it isn't bright or dark but it has balls from hell, is very articulate, and has absolutely amazing harmonic content, which is where I think it is similar to the JB. Far more balls than the JB though and less polite.
