DiMarzio Blaze II Baseplate and Design

Does anyone know, if the new PCB-Baseplate Blaze Humbucker only differs in the baseplate to the 'original' 1990 model or is the design also different (like putting zink inside gaps to compensate [virtualvintage]).

They didn't add virtual vintage or anything like that. It's the same core design, just different baseplate material

The PCB baseplate will produce fewer eddy currents than the brass. So there will be *some* difference but so minor that few may notice.
