DiMarzio coils and hybrids?

Over time I've picked up a couple of used DMZs relatively cheaply and am curious as to what I could make from the parts; will have an X2N, PAF Pro, a Super Distortion, 2 Air Zones and a set of IBZ/DiMarzios from an RG. Re the IBZs, the neck's based on a Super 2 and the bridge is somewhere between the Steve Morse model and Super Distortion, according to the DiMarzio site.
All the non-IBZs are regular spaced, not counting the X2N.

As most of the 'Dual Resonance' pickups seem to contain coils from other models, I'm wondering about what I could do with these. I've been doing some investigating and am under the impression that I could make a MegaDrive from the X2N and PAF Pro, but am unsure about everything else.

The Air Zones are the only standard dual resonance or hybrid-type pickups of the above, each having 1 coil around 7 and 1 around 10K DC ohms... I know that the 7K coil of a TZ or AZ + the 6K coil of a FRED makes a Norton but know little of those used in the Evolution pickups, for example. No idea if the Breed or EJ coils are used anywhere else, either.

Does anyone know:
Is there any similarity between the 7K coil in a TZ/AZ and those of a Super Distortion, ie would a pickup made form the two 7K Zone coils just be a SD with different poles (and magnet)?
Is the Super 2 a PAF Pro with a ceramic mag?
Are the 10K Zone coils known to be used in anything else? I believe the (hotter) Steve's Special or a Super 3 coil is up around 13K.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, I've been comparing patent numbers and years of introduction for a while now and am starting to hallucinate.

I'm just going to give you a bump. I think this is interesting!

Re: DiMarzio coils and hybrids?

I've had a suggestion to combine an X2N coil and the hotter Zone coil; any guesses as to whether or not it'll be completely hum-cancelling?

What I might do is meter all the coils out and see if I can equate which would be more likely to have matching numbers of turns (based on where they've come from and any known wire gauges)... will update in a while.
