I bought a DiMarzio Fast Track 2 for my project strat. It set me back a bit, but I guess DiMarzio has a return policy where you can send the pup back for another one of equal value for 30 days.
Anyway. I wired it up, and i can post a picture in a day or so, but I don't think I have series anywhere on the 5 way switch, On position 1 it sounds bright and clear, but still hums the little bit that my neck and mid pups do. On notch pos 2 it sounds a little smoother, a loss in highs and no buzz. I'm guessing I wired it in split / parallel, when i was trying to do series / parallel.
I really like the sound of it so far though, at 17 k ohms it should be pretty **** snarly.
