Dimarzio Illuminator Set Vs.USA Burstbucker: Epiphone Thunderhorse

I've been looking to replace the Burstbuckers on my Thunderhorse for some time now because they can get muddy on the neck and don't have the clarity and output I need. I was looking at the Dimarzio Illuminator set, and they seem like a good option. I was looking for input on which pup you guys think would be better out of the two sets, and you have a better suggestion, let me know. Also, I want to know if I'll actually be able to install the illuminators in my thunderhorse, considering their size. I'll post links to the a page with thunderhorse's specs and the illuminator's specs, and I'll let anyone who can help make the decision from there. Look forward to hearing anyones opinions.

The Illuminator set is very versatile and anything but muddy. The output is punchy, but controllable. There's no reason they shouldn't fit in your Thunderhorse. The coils are mounted a little taller than on some models, but that shouldn't pose any issues with your guitar. DO IT!!!

I like what I hear lol, but in seriousness, this my first time buying aftermarket pups in 7-ish years of playing. I'm playing a lot of melodic death metal but also a lot of prog, jazz and blues, so I need the punch but also the versatility.
