The super distortion is an excellent pickup!!! they do not make a neck version but it can be used in the neck. If you were to use one in the bridge and one in the neck the one in the bridge would be brighter and the neck would be a little darker. They would sound similar though. Like on a start, If you togle between the three diffrent pickups they are all a little different. Light to dark. Depending on position.

I still suggest that before anyone go with two Super Ds in the neck and bridge positions, that they try a Super II in the neck and a Super D in the bridge position. Very nice mix, with complimenting tonal differences, and balanced output too.
