Dimarzio question

Sorry to bring up another brand of pickup, but I got a guitar today and pulled the pickups to see what they are. The neck pickup is a double cream humbucker that just says Dimarzio. Any way to tell the model?

On the twelve string side (it's a 1977 Gibson doubleneck) I wanted to make sure it was Gibson pickups but all they say is "PAT" and then a long number. Sound like original pickups to you?

Thanks guys & gals :smoker: :banghead: :smokin:

Re: Dimarzio question

I really appreciate your posting those photos--my wife always said if there's no pictures, I'm a dead duck.

It looks exactly like the bottom pickup. I don't have a meter but since it came from the Seattle area and has an X2N in the bridge, I'd assume it's a super distortion. I can tell the sound difference between a super II and a super distortion.

Also thanks dystrust. Ithought they were, but I don't know enough about pickup markings to be sure.

Thanks again! :yourock:
