narrowed my choices down for new bridge pickup for my '83 Fender Bullet (a strat basically). Looks like Dimarzio VV Heavy Blues, VV Solo or the SD jb jr. I play blues, indi, rock and love doing some screaming solo's. However I dont want to over power the stock middle and neck pickups. Any help would be really useful.
Cheers

If you don't want to overpower the stock pickups, get the VV Solo. I had one paired with a VV 54 in the mid and a Blues in the neck.

I've never tried any of the pups you mentioned, but I LOVE the Dimarzio HS2 in the bridge of my Grosh

I have only heard the JB jr, and i didn't like it really.

You could also consider a VirtuAL 2 Bridge, it's quite a nasty pickup, good for those screaming solos.

I tried the Jbjr and didn't like it as it lacked bottom. I have found Dimarzios (at least the ones I have tried) seem to focus more on the lower mids. I would try the VV Solo pro or VV Solo.
