dimebucker height screws

Anyone know the specs on the dime's height adj screws? I lost one and have to replace it. Figure I'll go to home depot and grab one. Be easier if I had the specs instead of just eyeballing it.

Thanks!

Why not just measure the one that you didn´t lose ;)

Not so much the length, but the screw #, grooves per inch, finish and screw type (ie: #5-40 nickle plated fillisters). At Home Depot most of the screws are already in packages. Without the specs, I'll have to eyeball it and hope I'm right.

Good luck @ Home Despot... I have never seen #5-40 screws and filister head type... you better fugget about it. I won't even touch the nickel plating as @ Home Despot you're lucky if they even have zinc plating...

Best bet is with a smaller hardware store like an Ace Hardware.

I was just using the 5-40's as an example of the type of info I was looking for regarding the dime screws. I don't need actually need the 5-40's tho.

I think they are the same size as Bill Lawrence screws which are #4-40s. Good luck in finding them w/ black oxide coating. I checked several hardware stores and could only get "nickel".
