Hey guys,
I posted about 2 weeks ago that the JB in this guitar ain't working. I have a '74 Les Paul Special 55 that a former owner routed the Bridge Pickup for a full-size Humbucker.
My local 'hippy-dippy' Used Guitar store has a Dimebucker for $55.
I have a JB in there now. It is totally wrong for this ride. This guitar is already mid-heavy on its own. So, the JB is definitely NOT working.
What experience have you guys had with the Dimebucker? I'm particularly interested in Mahogany rides. Would this be a good choice? Seems like it would be since it's modeled on a Lawrence L500XL.
I know it's not a one-to-one correlation, but I do like Nuno's tone. Of course, an N4 is a VERY different ride.
Any thoughts on this?
THANKS!!!
