Dimebucker neck / Full Shred Bridge

I found a basher Les Paul. Thinking abouit trying this combo, maybe even detuning to D, and playing obnoxiously loud. Thoughts.....will this work? The pup combo?

dimebucker is a bridge pickup generaly.. i have one in my gibson "the hawk" pretty high output

Yeah, the balance between pickups will be awful, since the neck slot is acoustically louder than the bridge and the dimebucker is louder than the full shred. It's a great sounding combo in theory, but it just wouldn't sound right.

why not go the other way round?dime bridge and full shred neck. Ngreat combo if you aks me
