OHHPS ! I just went back a measured. the 9.5 reading was in position 2 instead of just bridge (sorry) the bridge actually wont get ANY reading at all?!! but i do get sound out of the pickup when it's plugged in (although its a really thin jangly bad sounding single coil sound) what does this mean ?

That's... Odd. I'd do what JEM suggested and check the pup straight up. It sounds to me like your green isn't properly connected.

Decided to take the pickup out and try testing it straight. No reading ! I'm upset, I have to get a new pickup now, I guess. :flush: I dont understand how it still made sound though ?

Hmm... Test black and white together then test red and green. That'll test each coil.
