Is it just me, or does the sound clip for this pickup basically wipe the floor with the rest of the high output pickups?

Depends on what you're looking for, I guess.

I had one for about 7 years but eventually sold it for an X2N. I liked it a lot but I figured if I was going to go balls out, why not go all the way.

It sounds REALLY good in warmer guitars.

Definitely depends on what you're looking for. I like most of the other high-output humbuckers better; to me that clip sounds big and sloppy. The others sound tighter, like they would sit better in a band situation. On the whole, though, those clips really aren't very helpful.
