Dimebucker

Does anybody know about Dimebuckers? I no longer want to get a JB or DD, I want something COMPLETELY metallic sounding. I was just wondering if the Dimebucker would do this...yeah...

out.

Re: Dimebucker

Metallic sounding? Not sure I quite understand that. But I do use a Dimebucker in my Epi Les Paul. I had a JB in the bridge originally and while I loved the harmonics and sustain, the JB didn't have a tight enough crunchy distortion for me. So I went with the DB and I'm really satisfied with it. Its high output, but I can get some really good cleans out of it. It has great harmonics, and great tight, crunchy bottom end. I play everything from the Eagles to all forms of Metal (new and old), and it seems to do the job.

I agree with Jeff5. I've got one in an Ibanez and I'm very satisfied with it. Clear cleans and screaming highs.

How does it compare to a Custom, what are the major differences?
