DiPinto Galaxie 4

Hey guys! I was watching Los Straitjackets on Conan and totally fell in love with the DiPinto Galaxie 4 (http://www.dipintoguitars.com/product.php?id=2).
Sounds awesome and it's $634 at PGS. Anyone got any experience with the guitars?

I have a friend who loves his. I've played it, and it seems like a decent quality import.

Great range of tones, even if you're not playing surf/instro. If the quality is there it seems like a good buy.

Yeah, I'm mainly interested in it as a surf guitar, but would of course not use it for that exclusively if I got one.
I totally got the hots for the pink sparkle one.
