Direct Through wiring for a tele

g'day all

I'm after a wiring diagram for a direct through a mod that when you pull the pot, you get the bridge pick up straight to the jack. I've found a diagram that includes the selector switch but I would like to be bridge only no matter where the 3-way switch is.

Thanks, I think I follow. From a standard wiring, you go via the switch with the bridge p/u and use the jumper in the out position and the "normal wiring" via the down position

I'll give it a go tomorrow

so, i just got a chance to doing it and it works great thanks very much.

I chance you have a way to do it on a stright with 2 switches once for the bridge and one for the neck?

And yes… I can come up with something that would do the same thing with the neck pickup. I think I’ll have time this evening to draw something up for you, but you might have to give me a few hours! [emoji6]

Okay... who’s ready for round two?

This one took a little more thinking in order to get it to work right. I moved the bridge blower to the tone control and put the neck blower on the volume so they would coincide with the actual physical positions of the pickups on the guitar. When you pull up either one it completely bypasses the volume, tone and switch, sending that pickup directly to the jack regardless of the switch position. If you pull up both you are sending both pickups directly to the jack.

Though I wish I had of rereading my post after I typed it. as straight = Strat

I was after bridge and neck but for a Strat
