But seriously, if you want a good BM pedal, you're gonna need to try them out for yourself. My suggestions are not a Boss Metal Zone, because they sometimes have too big of bottom IMO, more like nu-metal or thrash material. You're gonna need something like a DOD Death Metal, Ibanez Smash Box, or probably a Line 6 Uber Metal if you want tons of gain to boot. Not sure exactly, see what you come across and try it out, and see what's best for your BM style.
