I am considering buying a used Jackson Randy Rhoads RR3 Pro guitar. I have found information online that says that these guitars come with Seymour Duncan pickups and sales ads that say they come with Duncan Designed pickups. I haven't seen the guitar yet but the seller assures me that it has Seymour Duncan pickups and that the top of the pickups say "Seymour Duncan". I have seen pictures of pickups that say "Seymour Duncan" on the top and pictures that say "Duncan Designed" on the top.
1. How can one visually identify whether the pups are "Seymour Duncan" or "Duncan Designed"?
2. If the pickups say "Seymour Duncan" on the top does that definitely mean that they are Seymour Duncan and not Duncan Designed pickups?
3. Or can pickups that say "Seymour Duncan" on the top still be Duncan Designed pickups?
Thanks for any help with this issue.
