Distortion+Demon better where? 24.75" mahogany w/FR or 25.5" alder tunamatic?

Please advise, trying to decide where to put a set that's been gathering dust.

Both guitars are bolt-on Eclipses. And yes they have different woods and (somehow) different scale lengths.

ESP: mahogany body, 24.75" maple w/rosewood, OFR trem
LTD: alder body, 25.5" maple w/rosewood, tunamatic hardtail

Other guitar would have an EMG 85x / EMG 81 set.
 
I'd go for the 24.75". I think the high end would be rounder, but that is a sound I really like.
 
Go with the shorter/mahogany.

I don't think it will sound bad in either - but I love the Distortion, so there is that. I have them in Les Pauls and Jackson Shredsticks, so...wherever.
