Distortion + Full Shred?

hello gents,

can I get opinions on this pickup config?

BRIDGE: TB-6 Distortion

NECK: SH-10 Full Shred (neck version)

would this rip ass for thrash and shred? I figured the Distortion for thrash rhythms and the Full Shred for soloing and clean tones.

good or bad idea???

Dan good combo for thrashin! Probably one of best. I myself like some others this the Distortion is too shrill and tinny so I replace it with the Alternative 8. But matched with the Full Shred in the neck position. I love it to death! Distortion neck was too dull sounding. This all coming from a fellow thrasher!

That real liquidy burbling (if you shred fast enough). Great PuP...

If the stock PuPs in my Dellinger areb't up to snuff, I'm gonna audition a Full Shred set in it. Loved them in my Jackson Dinky and Charvel Model A...
