Distortion set for sale

Black, neck and bridge set. Plenty of lead. Came out of a Paul. Ill post an actual measure later.
Both in excellent condition. $90 shipped in the US

yes, standard spaced, 2 conductor. 7 in of lead on the bridge, 11+ on the neck.

they are. maybe there is a 2 conductor one.

they come in 2 or four. Ill check to make sure there arent other wires that just werent exposed. these came out of an Edwards.

It'll be a few days as I dont have a digicam.. They are 2 conductor though.

Also, right now, Im down to the neck. The bridge model went in one of my Charvel 4s today for a trial run.

FYI: A Distortion neck coil mates beautifully with a 59 coil to make a killer hybrid. (Use the A5 mag from the 59.) This and a 59 would make two great hybrids.

You know . . . until you asked that question, I've never just switched back and forth between the two before. The difference is more subtle than I thought. The 59 has a slight mid-hump, whereas the 59/DD hybrid tends to flatten out the frequency response. Perhaps with a slight high-end roll-off. I'd almost say the hybrid has a bit less "honk". Its really not a night & day difference.
