Now that I have gotten back into some pedal builds, here is a prototyping board I just put together. The black box has a 9V battery inside and external switched 9V jack. Switch is a 3PDT, but a toggle instead of a footswitch since it is tabletop. Unlike most effects pedals, power to the board also goes through the switch to power down the breadboard and/or any circuit connected to the orange quick connects.
The SAG control (Beavis dying battery sim) allows DC power drop down to ~3V. The GAIN control is simply a variable 50K resistor to reduce the input signal.
I still have a few minor items to finish (wire strain relief, mount the box etc) but it is working..
(sorry for the shadows)
