He is only using the 2 fingers that work for that whole thing!

That is just sick. I got into Django a long time ago because of Peter Frampton always raving about him. His stuff is great but I never saw him play that was the coolest thing I've seen in a while.

very little footage exists of him, only like 2 clips or something like that.

and his ring finger and pinky finger were basically fused together, making them basically useless.

From pics I have of the Hot Club I would say it is Stephane Grappelli.

One of my customers recently gave me "Retrospective" which is 5 discs of Django over the years. It is brilliant, the entire thing. Now putting his techinique to what I am hearing it makes it even better.
