Since Hot Rails were made for Strat replacements, do techs install a 500k pot to go with it or was it made to function like it should with the stock Strat 250k pots?

thanks!

ps...whoops! I meant 250k pots in the header!!

If I'm pairing a bridge humbucker with single coils,I'll normally stay with 250K pots, otherwise the single coils get too toppy for my tastes...

In my dual humbucker guitars,I always stay with 500k pots....

I was using a Scremon Demon with 2 APS2s in one of my strats with 250K pots and it was fine....The SD was still plenty bright with the 250K and 500K would have been a bit too much....

One thing I thought about doing, was to have a 250k/500k push/pull pot,but I just stayed with 250k pots instead and I was ok.
