When it comes to buying guitars, equipment and accessories I purchase from my local music store. Where I live I have access to one of the largest shops in the area, I feel fortunate to have this available to me. They have always given me great service their prices are better than online at times and if there is something that is less money online for same product they match it. The really good part about it all is service you know you are getting a product that is not damaged. Before the product leaves their shop it is checked over thoroughly then they want you to check as well so you are happy before you leave. Warranty work is another one if you have an issue with guitar, amp etc. They are there for you if you need a repair. I find many online services want to sell you a product then when push comes to shove you find out quickly where they stand. They want you to ship it back to the supplier I have had some ugly dealings buying some radio control equipment. Having to pay shipping charges to send back to them plus insurance charges. The last thing I want is to purchase a guitar from some online company to have it arrive at my house damaged then they tell you to deal with the shipper. And you never know if it has been shipped damaged from the online seller before the shipper picked it up. When I buy from the shop the majority of the time its in stock I can look over the product and see what I am getting and I get to play if its an instrument right on the premise's. To each their own but that's my take on it. I like to support my local guy's they are always there for you.
