Do you have cases for all your guitars?

I have the gig bags that came with the guitars, do those count?

I'm honestly much more of a gig bag guy than I am a case guy. I don't tour, so my guitars don't get thrown in the back of a tuck or a van or whatever, so no biggie. I do take the train to band practice, and gig bags are much more convenient in that scenario.

I have cases for four of the five, because I moved from the U.S. to Canada and I needed them to survive the move. I also have a few gig bags, which I use when I gig (which isn't happening these days, sadly).

So the Charvel is the only one without a hard case.

I used to hate seeing people raw dogging their guitars on the subway with no case or gig bag. Especially up here in the winter or the rain.

People ... do that? Awful. A cheap gig bag doesn't cost much. If you can afford the guitar, surely you can afford to keep it safe from the weather.

People ... do that? .

All the time especially the street corner performers. Mr. Butch a.k.a. "The Mayor of The Boston Homeless" never had a guitar case in the 20 years I knew him.

Oh, sure. That actually makes sense. I wasn't thinking of homeless street performers.

I remember that dude!
And I have cases for most of my instruments. Or gig bags. I tend not to bring all of them with me at any one time, so what I have covers the need.
