Picked up an EH Doctor Q Envelope Filter today, haven't had one since my teenage years. What a great pedal, sounds terrific and not only can I be the Funky Meters but it makes for a great set Wah sound all depends on the attack.

Cool ! I have a old MXR autowah. I get some cool 70's funk outta it.
Also works great for Jerry Garcia Stuff. ( I wonder if he used the Dr. Q?)

I am using it for some great Schenker type tones and totally digging it.

I was playing Meters stuff so I had to break it up. Not a Dead fan at all so not likely I'll do the Jerry thing but I hear a bunch of Steely Dan type tones as well.
