Does anybody have any experience with Ceriatone amps?

I have spoken with Nik from Ceriatone via Email to have him answer a few questions about his products. He seems like the real deal, and has been extremely honest and straight forward in answering my barrage of questions about this feature that feature, etc....
I am really looking into getting some kind of BF fender amp as my main rig and was wondering if anyone has anybody has any experience with the quality of Ceriatone's products. Mojotone looks interesting too but I'm not really learning how to build my own amp.
Thanks in advace.

I've heard that Nik's stuff is good, but maybe not the trannies so much. Often times, stateside folks get his w/o the trannies and install them here. Partly to save on shipping weight. That said, if you're looking for BF clones, look at Marsh amps, and Allen amps. Maybe a bit more, but factor in shipping, costs, better transformers, cabinets and speakers and you'll have things in a wash. Besides, you'll keep the business in the u.s. if that's an issue for me.

Cheers,
Dave

Thanks, Dave!
Great info/ideas indeed.
I will look into both Marsh/Allen for sure!

Nik's transformers are good but heavy, which is why people change them... No other reason! Nik make good products.

From what I've read at 18watt.com and at TGP that, while the build quality is there, some of the parts have been less than top shelf at times. I know he's a great guy, trustworthy, and very well-respected-so I do not mean to bash him.

That said, Allen and Marsh build things correctly with great parts-that's never been a topic of debate from what I've read. And I have scoured boards and the internet on amp kits for some time-maybe 4+ years now, and time and time again, those 2 makers have been mentioned with high regards.
I am about to go ahead with a Marsh DR or PR once tax time passes.
