Does anyone else have a case that looks like this?

Got this case brand new in 1980 with my Iceman

my first hardshell looks like that. started in hs and just kept adding. as stuff aged and peeled off, it was replaced with other core current stuff. the old skb case finally cracked and the hinges gave out so its retired but i still keep it for nostalgic reasons. most of the time i use gig bags these days but the plastic hardshells always get stickers. the g&g tweed boxes dont get stickers though. they never seem to stick well

I really don't do hardshell cases much anymore. Gig bags are easy to carry, and I still have my hands free for my pedalboard and amp. I am all about 1 trip from the car.

I have a Les Paul case in semi-rough shape with some stickers, but nothing like that. I usually put one or two stickers on each side and/or at the ends of the case so I can detect if my axe walking away from any distance ...and put a stop to it.

I am all about the gig bag now also. But the Iceman is too long for most bags. I could get a bass bag but it is not pressing.

I thought maybe they were selling relic'd cases with childhood stickers now but that hasn't hit market just quite yet. ;)

I have stickers like that on my first guitar cases that I still have. As time went on I would put my stickers on other people's car bumpers. I haven't peeled a sticker in probably 20 years or more.

This is the first hard shell case I ever got, as a gift, and within a year I had put most of these stickers on it. The Tele that uses this case has been with me as long as the case has.

Yep, this is my first case. My others are in pristine condition seeing they never get used. I always have my guitars in a bag. When I think about the only time my guitar cases got used was to bring the guitar home. With the exception of the Icemen

I gotta get to Lansdowne st. And check out the Tit Pit!!!!

It was a club across from Fenway Park called SPIT. I took an exacto blade to a couple of their bumper stickers. That sticker was on my bedroom door for the longest time. It made it on to my case when I moved out of my parents house.
