I have a 8.75PG+, and I think it is the best wax potted PAF clone I have. I ain't gonna list what I have and have tried here, but it suffices to say that it might be considered a sufficient statistic for my humble claim.
Is the PG+ an advanced version of the PG humbucker? Because I don't think I've seen it on the humbucker page on this website. Sorry if I just missed it or something.

I quite like the PG+, but only after tweaking it slightly. I had to lower it almost flush to get a warmer, clearer tone - it still has a pronounced "half wah" sound (especially noticeable in the higher registers) but that gives it a lot more cut through when playing with a band.
I only got to here the PG+ in the lone star strat and i liked it \
it has more output, presence than a old paf but it still has a cool vintage vibe.
i also tried the PAF pro and the PG+ was more natural sounding.
you may also want to give the regular PG a go,it has more of a middy growl.
jeremy is a fan of this pup and i can hear why! :burnout:
I've got one on the way in the mail. I'm trading with someone because I've wanted to try one for a while...and hot rod my Hwy 1. I think it will be a very good pup, and if it's a little too bright, I have an A4 mag to throw into it!
They get a bad rap...but like anything in the right application they can be great pups I believe.
