Hi guys !
My local shop got a used (looks in good con.) 1979/80 Peavey Classic VT 50 in !
Had no time to play it. Will go back this weekend !
They told me it is the series that started the Classic-range that we know today !
I know nothing about this amp - do you ?
It has a gain channel - how does it sound ?
Oh, and a seprate reverb & PHASE channel !!! - HUH ???
What happend to good old trem or vibrato ?
So guys, any info on this amp will be great !
Can not trust the sales clerks as they will probably try and tell me it is Brian May's old amp that he got from Eddie Cochran, run on a special-mix of EL84's & 6V6's, and have two, "one-off", 13inch speakers or something !
