a neck pickup like the ones in 54 les paul customs. They aren't p90s and they sound more strat like. The only catch would be that its made for a HB route. I just watched a lenny kravitz dvd and craig ross' tone with his 55 custom w/p90/alnico thing was awesome, incredibly thick. But when he switched to the neck pickup it sounded like a beefy strat(due to the lp body and non p90 'alnico PU') I am going to get a firebird studio(humbuckers) and put a phat cat in the bridge and want to get a neck PU that has the sound of craigs les paul with the strat sounding neck PU. Well, would I have to go custom shop or do they make something like that? Thanks
